C. Raiding and Character information

1. Character Name | Spec | Class | Race (Horde Race upon acceptance)
Nitrous | Fury | Warrior | Orc

2. Are you a clicker? Be honest
No

3. Are you exalted with Sons of Hodir?
Yes.

4. What is your raiding experience Pre-BC? In BC? WoTLK? Specify the guilds you were in/leadership role/responsibility.
Pre-BC: Cleared all content up to military quarter in Naxx
BC: Cleared up to Brutallus pre-nerf. At this time I was a main tank and raid leader of the guild Omni.
WotLK: Cleared Naxx with Omni before it fell apart. Joined current guild, Best in Show, for Ulduar, as fury dps (T8: US 108, T9: US 50).

Currently I'm an officer in BiS. We've cleared 7/12 H in ICC and I have experience on Putricide H and Sindragosa H.

5. Provide an armory link to your character and a wowhead link to your normal raiding spec.
Armory: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Shattered+Halls&cn=Wargazm
Spec: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#Lhbf0fhZGxc0E0u0eRVzAo:oGM0oz

6. You will need lots of consumables to keep up with the pace during progression raids. Do you have the will and time to put in enough effort to keep an adequate amount?
Yeah, I always have several stacks of food, haste pots and flasks on me.

7. Will you come to a progression raid having already read any available information relevant to encounters?
Always. In our current guild I would often be the one to set up most strats and positioning for ICC hardmodes, so I was always watching videos and reading up on all strats and boss abilities beforehand.

8. What do you think about beginning raids early and staying beyond the required raid times to down new content?
My schedule is very flexible so I have no problem raiding before or after the scheduled times during progression.

9. Post a WWS report / Wow Meter Online / World of Logs of a few recent raids in your guild.  If your guild does not run these, post a screenshot(s) of your recount for some boss encounters. (DO NOT LEAVE THIS OUT)
This week's logs:

I’m currently in Best in Show (Horde – Shattered Halls). http://www.harmoniumguild.com/forums/
GM is Nephisto.

2. Why are you leaving your current guild?
Other officers in the guild recently quit the game, leading to the disbanding of the guild.

3. Do you play actively outside of raiding?
Yes, I'm usually on 3-4 hours a day outside of raiding.

4. Are you able to take and improve upon harsh criticism?
Absolutely, I learn from my mistakes.

5. There will be Bench time.  Everyone will have to sit at one point in time or another. Are you okay with this?
Yes, I realize that alot of fights favor different classes and I have no problem sitting for most fights.

6. Why are you interested in joining CUTIES ONLY? do you currently know anyone in CUTIES?
I don't know anyone in CUTIES but I have heard alot of good things about your relaxed yet serious and well performing raid environment. I think I would make a great addition to QT's roster, because I'm a very skilled player who knows his class inside and out. While I'm very serious about raiding, I can also relax and have a good time playing the game.

7. What are the other guilds you applied to? any particular reason why you are shopping for multiple guilds? keep in mind we do have very good contacts in other guilds, your omission on certain information may be held against you.
The only other guild I've currently applied to is Exodus.

8. If your application is accepted. What kind of raider can we expect you to be? Give a brief description of your attitude towards raiding in both progression and farm content. Does your level of play decline during the farm period?
On both farm and progression content, I have a very high level of alertness and react very well in tight situations. I'm fairly consistent in my numbers and my dps will rarely drop on any given fight.

9. How can we contact you outside of the game? AIM, Email, etc...

Very good app, I would recommend you to our recruitment officers if we're looking for another fury warrior, which we might need for heroic lk.  But thats up to them.

A few things to note.  You are arp hardcapped without food.  If you drop 2 arp gems for 10 str/crit gems, and use arp food, it would be a dps gain from the socket bonuses.  Not to mention that rhino meat is a fraction of the cost of dragonfin.  More dps and more gold in your pocket.

You have 22 agi enchanted on your cloak.  At your gear lvl, haste > agi sep, plus the haste enchant gives you one more stat.

Have you tried specing into heroic fury?  I find it very useful in many encounters.  Being able to intercept to an add and then immediately back to the boss is pro.  You don't have run speed to boots either.  It helps a lot on movement fights.

Do you have a saurfang parse?  I tried to find a saurfang kill on your guilds wmo calendar, but they all seemed to be bugged out.  Its hard to evaluate other fights due to rng fight mechanics.  You have a really good blood queen parse, but it should be if you get the first bite.  I'll take a more indepth look at your parses later, I got some heroics to run on my alt Smiley

Agree nice app.

In regards to minor tweaks for dps increase I see that you are currently using the OH that I want, Heroic Ramaladni's Blade of Culling. It is putting you over the EXP cap and I know its not by a lot but those are a few points that can be allocated into a slight DPS upgrade.

I am a fan of the t10 264+ 4 piece but when using Ramaladni's Blade of Culling, Legplates of Painful Death is a better choice than T10 legs while replacing your gloves to get the T10 bonus.

I am guessing that you may be waiting for a different OH or don't feel like spending the 8 saronites on the legs because if and when you do upgrade your OH, T10 legs will most likely be better for you.

As Pooh pointed out your best and easiest DPS upgrade is using ARP food, It's not a huge DPS boost but fixing a few small things can add up to making a very respectable overall upgrade.

Please note that I am just a guild friend and my constructive criticism may be worthless.

Thanks for the feedback, some good suggestions Smiley

I am guilty of choosing str foor over arp despite the couple extra socket bonuses, simply because dragonfin is much easier for me to get a hold of. I usually farm mats for my own haste pots and getting pygmy fish and dragonfin together is pretty convenient. I will definitely look into dropping a few points and getting those bonuses.

As for my offhand, there's a couple reason's why I haven't switched the 4pc from pants for gloves, biggest of which is that I don't have the 264 gloves yet, and it would be a dps loss with the 251's. Second is that I plan on replacing Ramaldni with a 277 Cryptmaker as soon as I can, which will allow me to move some pieces around (Icewalker Treads = gag) and get a good deal more strength instead of the excess hit I have. If we were talking about Glorzengle, on the other hand, it would be a completely different story

Our WMO's and WOL's became a huge mess when our guild broke up and I'm doing my best to patch everything together. I have saved all the logs from the last few weeks and I'm digging through them right now trying to find a Saurfang parse. As soon as I find it and upload it I'll provide a link.

I understand you guys have a tight melee roster and I definitely don't expect a ton of raid time, but I'm more than willing to help out on progression fights wherever you need the extra cleave dmg.

Here's a Saurfang parse I salvaged from 2 weeks back.

http://www.wowmeteronline.com/combat/12824610#damageout

I was missing 4pc and a couple off-pieces but it should still be pretty accurate.

I have played around with Heroic Fury quite a bit and I do usually switch it with Piercing Howl depending on the fights. So far I've been using it on Deathwhisper, Putricide, Blood Princes and of course Valithria. Makes me kind of wish I didn't have to tank so much.

just as a reminder, if you were to be in the guild you would not need rampage or commanding presence. so that frees up 6 points for you. and if you have a feral druid or a pally with imp might i would suggest dropping those points, anyway.

Also, an extra reminder, we run two full time furies and one of them is basically guaranteed a spot for every encounter because he is collecting the shadowmourne quest items which decreases your likelihood of getting into encounters.

Marrowgar(H): Your dmg to boss seems a bit low.  Are you completely running away during bone storms?  You shouldn't, because he has a HUGE hit box, making his ww dmg to you very healable if you are in max melee range while he spins.

BloodQueen(H): Good parse.  No pact + no shadows + 1st bite = win.

Saurfang(N)

Your BT/WW usage is very good. 31 BT in 141s = 0.220/s, which is 88% of max, 16 WW in 141s = 0.113/s, which is 91%.

Compared to my recent parse http://www.wowmeteronline.com/combat/12820245#damageout, I had 54 BT in 246s = .220/s (88%), and 28 WW in 246s = 0.114/s (91%).

A couple questions, do you pre-pot for fights?  You should use an indestructable pot for extra ap right before you engage a boss.

For 4pc t10 procs, when do you use the slam charges to maximize gcd usage?

You can triple pot.  Any fight with more than a minute of RP lets you armor pot at 1:05ish, speed pot, and then whichever pot you want during the fight!

Dunno if it'll yield a dps boost having 1minute of armor + speed versus 2 minutes of armor though lol.

Yes, I always pre-pot with an indestructible unless we are blowing lust withing 5 sec of the pull, in which case I use speed. I did read about triple potting but I decided not to do it on Saurfang (only fight with 1min+ rp unless you time LK very well), since on a 4 minute fight it would leave me 1 min w/o the extra armor, and when every point of Blood Power counts (to us it did), we used everything we could to mitigate the mark and blood boils.

On Marrowgar we split the raid into 3 groups for bone storm, so I was kind of stuck dpsing the boss less than 1/3 of that phase.

I've found the 4pc slam procs very easy to manage and I almost never clip a gcd using them. As a general rule I never use it withing exactly 1.0 sec of WW or BT. In some cases, when it either has less than 2.5 sec remaining w/ BT up or less than 4.0 sec w/ BT and WW coming up, I'll clip maybe a quarter of a second off the gcd, but I rarely let the slam duration last that long unless there's a lot of moving around. For regular slam procs I don't use them withing 1.5 sec, and I'm much less liberal with cutting gcd's.

Like I said I understand you guys have a tight melee roster and I don't expect a ton of raid time, but I know that there are probably a few melee/cleave-favored fights where I could be very helpful in the long run.
